IMPORTANT NOTES ON TICKETS AND CIRCUITS FOR VISITING MACHU PICCHU
  1. Diversity of Circuits: There is no single circuit that covers 100% of Machu Picchu; each offers a unique experience and covers different areas of the citadel.
  2. Objective of the Circuits: The circuits were designed by the Peruvian government to protect Machu Picchu, distributing visitors so that certain areas are not overloaded, thus preserving the sanctuary.
  3. Access and Differences between Circuits: All circuits allow entry to Machu Picchu, but vary in aspects such as access to the classic point of view.
  4. Tickets for Specific Mountains: Tickets for Waynapicchu or Machupicchu Mountain are not sold separately; They must be purchased in conjunction with the circuit that includes each mountain.
  5. Restrictions on Circuit Combinations: It is not possible to combine circuit 02 with the mountains. The circuits pre-established by the Peruvian government do not allow modifications.
  6. Purchase of Multiple Tickets: To combine circuit 02 with Waynapicchu or Machupicchu Mountain, two tickets must be purchased: one for circuit 02 and an additional one for the mountain, with an extra cost of $60.
  7. Ticket Purchase Process: Tickets are sold by the Peruvian government only. If there is no availability on the page, it means there are no spaces available at all. If you book the tour with Machu Picchu Trip Guide, we will purchase the Machu Picchu tickets for you, provided that there are available spaces.
  8. Discounts for Visitors with Pre-existing Tickets: If you already have a ticket to Machu Picchu and decide to take a tour with us, we offer a $40 discount off the tour price, since we will not need to purchase a ticket for you. Please let us know what type of ticket you have to coordinate tour times.
  9. Advance Tour Reservation: It is recommended to book the tour to Machu Picchu in advance to guarantee the best visiting circuits.
  10. Maximum Visitor Capacity: The maximum number of visitors allowed in Machu Picchu for 2024 is 4,500 people per day, distributed in different circuits and times.
  11. Ticket Purchase Alternatives: If you do not find tickets available on the website, contact us by WhatsApp to explore in-person purchase options upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, the base location for Machu Picchu.
  12. Change and Refund Policy: Once purchased, Machu Picchu tickets do not allow changes, modifications or refunds according to Peruvian government policies. If they are not used on the reserved date, they are lost.
  13. Adjustments in Tour Itineraries: If you buy a ticket for a time different from that established in the tour, the train schedules and methods of return to Cusco will be readjusted according to your Machu Picchu schedule, with direct coordination with you.
  14. Purchase Recommendations in Case of Low Availability: If you cannot change the date of your visit and there is little availability of tickets, we recommend taking what is available, since waiting to buy the last tickets in Aguas Calientes is risky, especially in high season (May to October).
  15. Compliance with Visiting Schedules: The schedules on the tickets must be strictly respected, since only one hour of tolerance is allowed to enter Machu Picchu. Make sure you are on time for your admission.
